What to bring to Adventure Camp...

Depending on which option you have selected for your group, below are a few recommendations to make your Adventure easy and more comfortable for the weekend!

Option 1 - Day Visit

For this option, you may want to consider bringing a gazebo/event shelter with some chairs/ benches to sit at while eating lunch.

Everyone in your group should bring a packed lunch with their own drink too. Leaders may wish to bring additional juice to top up bottles throughout the day.

All the usual 'day trip' essentials should also be brought: First aid kit, full waterproofs for everyone, InTouch details etc.

Option 2 - Self-Catering

The self catering option is your usual cub camp, cooking and eating yourselves.

For this option, you would need to bring all your normal camp kitchen essentials (cookers, utensils, plates etc) to be completely self-sufficient for the weekend. A dining shelter and tables and benches would also be very useful in case it rains!

Again, all the usual essentials for a camp should be brought too (first aid kit, InTouch details etc)

Option 3 - Central Catering

With this option, the district team will be providing all your food and meals for the weekend. There's no need to bring a kitchen as we will do all the cooking centrally for you.

However, you may want to consider bringing your own tea/coffee making facilities for your group (these will also be available centrally)

You will need somewhere to eat though! Please bring gazebos/event shelters and tables and benches for your pack to eat at their site.

Everything you need to eat your meals will be provided by the district team, so no need to bring plates/cutlery etc - we will provide this for you.

We also recommend that the Cubs bring a reusable drinks bottle so they can refill them at one of the hydration stations around the site.
