Stockport District Cubs are pleased to announce this year’s Adventure Camp! It will be held at Barnswood Scout Campsite on the weekend of 3 - 5 October 2025.
 

The format of the camp will be based around Fun & Adventure with loads of activities taking place throughout the weekend that the Cubs are free to roam and enjoy.

Each Cub will be provided with a T-Shirt - this will be their passport for the activities, with all the activities listed on the back! The leaders on each base will use a sharpie to tick off on the T-Shirt (yes, that's right!) when they have completed it. How good is that!? (Thanks Dan W for the idea!!)

If you would like your pack to join in, we are offering 3 different options to try to offer something for everyone.

Option 1: Day Visiting
The first option open for your pack is simply to join in for the daytime only – this would mean arriving at the campsite for 8.30am on Saturday and staying until 5.30pm. All you need to do for this option is bring a packed lunch for the day.

Costs: £30 per Cub, FREE for everyone else!

Option 2: Camping (Self-Catering)
The second option is to camp for the weekend! Starting at 7.00pm on the Friday and ending at 2.00pm on the Sunday, bring your tents, kitchen and food and enjoy a ‘normal’ Cub camp with your pack.

Costs: £40 per Cub, FREE for everyone else!

Option 3: Camping (Central-Catering)
The final option is a central-catering option. Simply bring your sleeping tents and camp from Friday night (6.00pm onward) through to Sunday (ending at 2pm). The district team will provide all your food and meals for the weekend, all you need to do is turn up and have a great camp!

Costs: £60 per Cub, FREE for everyone else!

This year we are offering FREE camping for leaders and young leaders accompanying their group - hopefully this will help groups with their logistics and allow more leaders and young leaders to join in and help out! Leaders wishing to attend without a group, please get in touch to discuss pricing options.
