When is Join in Jamboree?

JIJ2023 will be held at Linnet Clough on Friday 26th - Monday 29th May 2023

 

How do we book on?

Bookings are now open! Click the Bookings tab to book your group on. Email your Sub-Camp leader directly if you have any questions.

 

Can I do just 1 night?

Yes! This year you will be able to join in at the level that is right for you, whether that be day visiting only, 1 night, 2 nights or the full 3 nights! Join in YOUR WAY!

Keep an eye on your emails as more and more information will be sent out over the next few months. Keep checking this website too as it will be updated as we go along. Or you can email the team to ask questions using jij2023@gmescouts.org.uk and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Will Car Parking Permits be issued?

Yes

Can we have open fires?

No - due to the nature of the event there will be no open fires allowed, only gas bbqs

Will there be additional first aid provision?

Yes - there will be a central first aid point and groups will be expected to provide their own first aid provision too.

Will there be drinks stations for the young people & adults?

Yes, in our efforts to be sustainable, please remember to bring a cup and/or bottle though.

Will there be extra toilets?

Yes - we will have a number of additional toilet facilities brought into the site for this event.

Can I smoke on site?

You can, but only in the designated smoking areas please.

​

Can we consume alcohol while on site?

No - this event is a strictly alcohol-free zone, please leave it at home!
